Sewerage and Sanitation Status
At present, there is no sewerage system in Jiribam town. The existing sanitation condition is as follows.

Solid Waste Management Status
At present, the solid waste collection and its disposal is maintained by the Jiribam Municipal council which includes collection of waste at identified common points at certain timings and its disposal at dumping site mainly at Patchou.
A separate project of Sanitary Landfill Project at Patchou has been sanctioned by the MoUD under Ten Percent Earmarked Fund for the North East region in 2006, which is under progress. A photograph of the site is shown below
